The G7 series MICROTEMP® thermal cutoff from Therm-O-Disc is specifically designed for applications that do not require high current loads but seek minimized volume. The G7 series is only 1/3 the size of the G4 or G5 series, with a contact rating of 5A at 250VAC. It is primarily used in various transformers, automotive air conditioning electromagnetic clutches, motors, battery packs, and electronic circuits.
