The 10H series temperature controller manufactured by Therm-O-Disc is primarily used for detecting hot surface temperatures in various electric heaters and other instruments requiring long-distance sensing of hot surfaces. The 10H series capillary tube is vacuum-sealed and filled with a special liquid charge. When the predetermined temperature is reached, the charge vaporizes, causing a pressure change. This pressure change, via a saturated vapor pressure sensing system and connected mechanical linkage, actuates the contacts. The snap-action design of the 10H series provides rapid contact operation and high reliability, making it widely used in electric heaters and gas furnaces.
