The 59T series temperature controller manufactured by Therm-O-Disc is designed for electric water heaters with high capacitance values. It uses a temperature-sensitive bimetal disc, providing high-speed contact operation and adequate contact pressure under high electrical load conditions. The 59T series features two switch configurations: Auto Reset - Single Pole Single Throw (SPST), where one switch controls one circuit with normally closed contacts that open on temperature rise. Once the application temperature drops to a specific reset temperature, the contacts automatically reset to their normally closed state.
